Help for those self-isolating

As expected, the local community has already begun offering help to those who are or may soon be self-isolating.

Merton Voluntary Service Council are mobilising a volunteer taskforce to assist those in isolation with Merton's voluntary sector. They are building a list of volunteers to help households in isolation and those most at risk. If you would like to help, please email:

Elderly constituents can also contact Age UK’s free advice line 0800 055 6112 which is available 8am-7pm every day.

The National Care Force has gone live to find volunteers for nursing homes, care homes etc. to fill the gaps when extra staff are needed.
