Wimbledon is a special place to live and our green spaces and care for the environment enhance that. I am committed to protecting and enhancing our local environment as well as protecting our planet. I have held a number of local climate drop-in sessions in both Raynes Park and Wimbledon Town Centre. I know this is an issue which is close to the hearts of many of us in Wimbledon. It has been great to hear people’s ideas and I look forward to holding more drop-ins over 2023 and beyond. I am committed to working with Merton Council to make it easier for people to install solar panels on their roofs, work to reduce idling of cars and air pollution and deliver a cleaner and greener Wimbledon for everyone.
