One issue that remains at the top of residents list of frustrations is the lack of cleanliness of our streets and the poor refuse collection service. The local Council is letting our area down and appears to neither listen to nor care about our concerns.
So my New Year’s resolution is to make 2019 a year of civic pride in Wimbledon. The Council needs to invest in street cleaning, providing a better refuse collection and to provide a waste/recycling centre in Wimbledon.
