Planning Application 20/P1253 – Office Block at 265 Burlington Road
Last month a new planning application for the redevelopment of the redundant two storey office block at 265 Burlington Road, KT3 4NE was submitted to convert it to 38 flats. It would also incorporate the part of the existing car park currently used for “Click and Collect”, to provide 100 parking spaces for the occupants.
This is a “Prior Approval” application – which is a procedure where an office building may be converted for residential use without the requirement to obtain full planning approval.
However, under this procedure there are three issues are submitted to the Council:
• Design and external appearance;
• The transport impacts of the development;
• Flooding information.
