Prorogation of Parliament

It is well known that I have consistently opposed a No Deal Brexit.  I am disappointed and surprised that the Prime Minister has decided to prorogue Parliament. The Government intends the House of Commons should not sit between 10th September and 14th October.

I think that this is wrong and undemocratic. It would be constitutionally outrageous for Parliament to be prevented from holding the Government to account at a time of national crisis.

The Prime Minister should be using all his efforts to secure a Deal rather than blocking MPs doing the job for which we are elected.
