Tonight the Government Whips asked me to vote against the motion, as amended, to reject ‘No Deal’.

I could not do this as I regard ‘No Deal’ as a disaster. Therefore I abstained, despite being a Government Minister.

Following my public meeting with representatives from Heathrow Airport earlier in the month, many residents have been writing to me to express their concerns over how proposed flight paths would impact Wimbledon.

Community Clean Up - Saturday 2nd March

I’ve been working with the Neat Streets team in Wimbledon, who are a group of residents wishing to do their bit to keep our area clean.

They have arranged a community clean up session on Saturday 2nd March, starting at 10.30am from outside the YMCA, Wimbledon Broadway, SW19 1RY.

Motspur Park Station Waiting Room

The waiting room at Motspur Park station has been closed for far too long and I have raised this with South Western Railway and Network Rail.

Network Rail agreed, and undertook the necessary work to reopen the waiting room.
