South Wimbledon Gas Works Update

Earlier this week I visited the South Wimbledon junction with Cllr Nigel Benbow and local residents to inspect the gas works with reprsentatives from SGN.

South Wimbledon Gas Works

Wimbledon Chase Station

On Monday I discussed the proposed redevelopment at Wimbledon Chase Station with the developers and their agents. The key issues are accessibility and the height of the proposed building. Along with many local people I am concerned that the redevelopment will not have improved access.

St Helier Hospital

I am looking carefully at these proposals on how to use the £500 investment in the Epsom and St Helier Trust, and I would encourage everyone interested to do the same and respond to the consultation.

Debenhams Update

Debenhams in Wimbledon will sadly close on Sunday 19th January.

I have been in touch with Love Wimbledon, and we are working together to try to find out from the landlord the plans for the Debenhams site.
